Young, vibrant and bursting with personality, meet Jacqui Ryan the talented Queensland born modern country singer songwriter who has been shortlisted for Twlight’s New Moon soundtrack, as well as being considered for the global sensation, third movie, Eclipse, due to hit cinemas in July.
Some of Jacqui’s career highlights to date include being named in the Top 10 of the MusicOz Awards, (the biggest music competition in Australia) and being awarded grand finalist in the 2004 Toyota Star Maker Quest. To top it all off, she was also awarded a scholarship to attend the College of Country Music where she co-wrote with talented singer songwriter Lyn Bowtell.  Another career highlight that Jacqui experienced last year was the grand final nomination in
the female vocal section of the Tiara’s for her popular song, Close to Crazy.  Jacqui Ryan has had a successful career to date; having released a well received EP in
2007 and sang alongside artists such as Adam Brand, Beccy Cole and all time Aussie fave, Troy Cassar Daley.
Three years on Jacqui is ready to take to the studio to record her debut album “Break Through” making her lifelong dream a reality. As Jacqui takes to the studio, her fans are taking to her Facebook, MySpace and Twitter pages, showering her with love and support.  Having built a fan base as far as the Netherlands, Jacqui is set to soar and spread her wings like a new bird learning to fly… With a refreshing passion for the industry, one can truly see that Jacqui’s heart and voice is in the right industry.
