Dion and
Chris have been performing as The Waves across Sydney and the
Northern Beaches for over 10 years.
Prior to that Dion’s 2005 original album “Velvet Fever" received airplay on major radio stations. Chris is ex-Swanee, Lie Detectors, Obsession, a Beach Boys Experience Tribute and Mo Award winning band The Fugitives. In 2017, one of their projects received an ACE Award nomination for Best Vocal Group. The Waves selection of ’summer-vibe’ music is the perfect backdrop for any event, with chilled grooves from John Mayer, Van Morrison, Beach Boys, Elton John, Maroon 5 and Crowded House. But it’s not all chill - the boys spice it up with a diverse range of well-loved pop and rock hits for all ages, including from Doobie Brothers, the Weeknd, Bryan Adams, Counting Crows, John Mellencamp, Daft Punk, Cold Chisel, Foo Fighters, Dragon, Crowded House, Credence, New Radicals, Kings of Leon, INXS, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and many more.
