Ani spent 5 years as female lead vocalist with The corporate show band "Famous Unknowns" , working alongside former ‘Ten Tenor’ Andrew Pryor and David Devito (‘Australia’s Got Talent’ 2011 Finalist) . She was also lead female vocalist for her own band ‘Sweet Chocolate’, before teaming up on numerous occasions to perform with Sex and Chocolate. Ani has enjoyed performing for the most intimate audiences, and for some of the biggest corporate companies in the world.

Immediately making an impact with many in the industry comparing him with the iconic soul singers of the 70′s.
He quickly was picked up by record label Mai Music as a part of act D2S having two hit singles. Eventually moved on to a solo career gigging with artists like Nathan Haines, Ladi 6, Mint Condition, playing support act for Joe and Brian McKnight, recording with Ruffenz and DJ Reminisce, appeared as guest for various concerts, festivals and major events playing to capacity crowds, made several television appearances and sung on various television and radio jingles. He has travelled the globe performing with some of the world’s finest artists and musicians.

Rolando a.k.a DJ ROCK has been a DJ and MC for more than 1000 Weddings, Birthday Celebrations, and Corporate events over his 17 year DJ'ing career. A great DJ and MC is vital to creating the event you’ve dreamed of. You want someone with experience who can ‘read a crowd’ and someone who understands what’s important to you.

DJ ROCK'S background as a club DJ in Brisbane enables him to keep the music flowing by beatmixing live at your event. His venue experience is very extensive and he has entertained at most of the major function venues in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.

Rolando is well-known for his work at some of Brisbane’s more popular clubs and for his early radio work – hosting the "Fresh in the Morning Show" on Groove FM (2000-2002) and "Fresh Crew" on 4EB 98.1FM (1999-2002)

ROCK has hosted numerous events, for such celebrities as Boys 2 men (2008), Az Yet (2006), Chingy (2006), ICON Music Festival (2006-2009) Rolando has also hosted and organised many dance and DJ competitions, as well as being the tour dj on the Krump Kings NZ/Aus Tour (2007), J Boog Brisbane Show (2009) Renee Neufville Show DJ (Zhane) (2008), and Willy Angelo Show DJ (2013).

Rolando took his music internationally, playing for crowds at International events like BC Youth Rallies (Vanuatu, 2008) Bring It On (New Zealand, 2008) Camp Amerikids (New York 2014) The Bay (Nauru 2013) Island Fever @ The Jules (Nauru 2014)

However, some of his proudest work is the community events and initiatives he has organised, including "Together We Stand" a fundraiser for Tsunami victims in Samoa, where $20k was raised in 1 day, and all proceeds went towards purchasing aid for the victims. Rolando travelled to Samoa to deliver aid to the families directly. "Slacks Creek Fire Victims Concert" a fundraiser to support the fire victims in the Slacks Creek fire tragedy, $15k was raised in 1 day, all proceeds went to the funeral costs. "UTURN" urban music school, a community engagement program delivered in Kingston, Logan City, targeting disengaged youth.

Dj Rock says "My passion for DJing started as soon as I left high school and I quickly learned the art of beatmixing vinyl records. Beatmixing is a basic technique that every DJ should be able to do. It is the mixing of two tracks so that the beats of one occur at the same time as the other and therefore there is no break between the songs. I grew up listening to the likes of Grandmaster Flash, The Sugarhill Gang, Afrika Bambaataa, Michael Jackson, Kurtis Blow, New Edition, Teddy Riley, Prince and jazz legend George Benson. To this day, these plus many other hip hop and RnB artists have been a major influence in my DJ style and career."
