Michelle Brown has been performing on the Sunshine Coast for over 20 years
and is known for her big bluesy voice and dynamic stage presence.
Michelle was a finalist in the Australian Blues Awards in the Best Blues Performer category.
For many years Michelle performed with her band The Big Easy at major SE Qld Festivals
including Broadbeach Blues, Kangaroo Point Jazz & Blues, Gympie Muster
and headlined for many years at Woodford Folk Festival.

Recently she joined with award winning veterans of the East Coast Blues scene Terrence Bernard,
Bob Ward and John Maier to form Redbelly Black. Favouring raunchy blues and rootsy funk.
The band matches Michelle’s vocal power with smoking guitar,
deep grooves and soul-drenched Hammond and piano.
