Tutin in the engine room, LAD Live are a South-East Queensland party/rock
band of seasoned
multi-instrumentalists and vocalists. Each member’s experience exceeds a
decade in live
entertainment covering hundreds of venues, events and festivals from the
Jupiter Casino to
the Tara Camel races.
Lucas has amassed a solid and loyal following through his uncanny ability to
replicate the
characters of original artists with his voice, supported by advanced
musicianship. Lucas On
Tour and Damo Halfpint, first began performing together in the late 1990’s
when their band
‘Stone Crows’ secured residencies in popular inner-city venues. Luke and
Damo continued to
work together in a duo while each fronted other outfits including Wasabi,
Citizen’s Arrest,
Fillet, Figure 8 and the Konspiracy Killers. The ‘A’ – Andrew Renshaw; a
talented bassist,
drummer, guitarist, vocalist and pianist was drafted from the Black Sheep
Family whom
Lucas also fronted for a period, and brings a wealth of performance
experience, energy and
technical support as well as wholistic entertainment industry expertise.
