Ken
Murdoch is currently enjoying a successful career,
playing weekly at some of Melbourne’s most prestige
Piano Bars, Wine bars and Hotels. He is a major
entertainer in Victoria’s Corporate World.
He is also in demand for Private Functions and
Wedding Entertainment.
His
performance involves music from the 60’s to current,
and upon request, a number of comedy sendups can be
incorporated throughout the evening.
His friendly persona and warm humour has a way of
making audiences feel at ease and his vast
repertoire of over 200 songs allows him to cater to
all ages.

A Little History
National TV appearances include: “Countdown”, “Bandstand”, “Hey Hey It’s Saturday”, “Bert Newton Show”, “Denise and Ernie” and “IMT”.
Ken started playing guitar for John Farnham in the mid 70’s.
He then went on to form 70’s hitmakers TASTE writing all their material including 4 top 20 singles and 2 top 20 national albums.
Embarking on a successful Piano Bar career in the 80’s Ken played all major nightclubs and venues across Victoria and interstate, playing to large audiences.
In the early 90’s he then joined top showband THE BLUE ECHOES playing keyboards, guitars and vocals.
They toured Australia consistantly, playing all major Casinos, RSL’s and Corporate venues to large crowds. Comedy was a major part in the Echoes act, of which Ken was a large contributor.
The year 2000 saw Ken return mostly to Solo/piano man work throughout Victoria and Queensland.
In 2001 he travelled to New Calidonia on a five venue tour, , and later
played keyboards throughout N.S.W/Sydney with the legendary COTTON, KEAYS AND MORRIS. 2001 also saw Ken overseeing all recording and programming of music for THE GRAND EQUESTRIAN EVENT which played at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to over 10,000 people.
He has just recently completed the music for the Australian Tennis Open for broadcasting throughout Asia.
He currently holds residencies at the Crown Casino, Players on Lygons and Silbers nightclub.
