Flirting Mazurkas

 

The Flirting Mazurkas trio play swinging jazz and latin songs, tantalising gypsy melodies
and European cafe favourites from a blend of charming vocals,
dancing tunes and infectious rhythms.
Featuring Jen Hawley on vocals/guitar as well as violin and accordion.

A popular, versatile roving & concert duo featuring accordion/piano/vocal and violin duo.
Their large, diverse repertoire includes gypsy, klezmer, jazz,
continental, tango and light classical music.

They are experienced at the European art form of serenading at tables and taking requests
as well as creating atmosphere in a street festival or playing for concerts.
They can also add bass and drums for a bigger sound.
 

Toured New Zealand 6 times to great acclaim.
Residencies at Vodka, Borsht and Tears and the Block Arcade lunchtime concerts,  
and countless other functions.
