 He was a regular performer on all three commercial networks and is known nationally as one of our finest entertainers.

For more than 30 years Ian Maurice has had one foot in the world of  TV Sports broadcasting and the other in the world of entertainment.
This veteran entertainer has been taking a break from performing but is now ready to take to the boards once again.

Over the years he has been a regular singer on the Midday show and on Bert Newton’s GMA. He has performed at QPAC singing with the Qld Pops Orchestra and has taken
his cabaret show to many venues around Sydney and South East Queensland.
He has opened for legendary jazz performer Al Jarreau at the singer’s Australian concerts and has performed on several cruise ships.

He has been the MC at many corporate events as well.

Now, Ian Maurice (The Bear) is back with a nostalgic music show featuring songs from the 50’s or ‘60’s or 70’s or a combination of all.

The main difference between Ian and other nostalgic music acts is that he grew up with the music of those eras and knows,
not just the number one hits, but also the popular songs that didn’t reach the top.
