Expect to hear some of the best high-energy Delta blues, Piedmont blues, Primitive Blues and Hillside Blues this side of the Mississippi mudflats.

Expect to see audiences dancing to end, and then demanding more.

Known for the ability to pull a crowd onto their feet and keep them jumping, the band burst out of the Queensland heat in the early 1990s, and quickly attracted a following in

 Brisbane, their adopted home, and on the Australian circuit for the foot-stomping, rhythm-driven style that made their first album -- Bush Telegraph -- a rare collectors' item

 after they took an extended break in 1998. The Stompers made a rare appearance in 2000 at the Woodford Music Festival to a packed house of Stompin’ enthusiasts.

They have now reformed with the original line-up -- Nigel Oliver (guitars, vocals), Michael Tully (double bass, vocals),  Matt Moline (harmonica, mandolin, vocals), UthalPlantener (washboard, drums) -- and the same livewire approach, honed by the subsequent years of extensive playing and performing with various individual projects.
