Blarney Stone formed at the end of 2015 after the players met
regularly at the Celtic Session at The Cardigan Bar, Sandgate.
The members have between them many years of musical experience playing at
sessions and performing with bands.
Rapidly becoming part of the Celtic music scene in Brisbane, with an
energetic and lively mix of folk styles and instruments.
Between them the members have a large repertoire of well-loved traditional
song and tunes.
These are drawn from a broad selection of Irish, Scottish and Australian
material.
Blarney Stone’s sound is authentic, and refreshingly irreverent with a high
level of audience participation encouraged
